What Are Your Thoughts On FAA Drone Regulations?
On December 14th, 2015, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announced that all drones weighing more than 0.55 pounds must be registered with them by February 19th, 2016. This is no joke. The civil penalties for flying a drone without proper registration after that date include a fine of up to $27,500. Criminal penalties include a fine of up to $250,000 and the potential of up to three years in jail time.
